How To Record Voice Mail Greeting

In a web browser, go to: phone.lssu.edu


Log in with: 4 digit phone extension; ADS password (password you use to log onto your computer)

Go to Voicemail 

On the top line all the way to the right go to: Voicemail Options

At Name, change to Personal

Click, Call me, and the system will call the extension to record your Voicemail message – follow the voice instructions. When finished, press, OK.

Press Download. This will download your greeting file to your desktop.


Press Upload to upload the Greeting.wav file to your phone. Agree to any overwrite file messages.


Change Greeting to Simple, then click Audio file…

Under Main, choose Upload, and scroll down to greet.wav, select it and click Open. This will upload your greeting to your voicemail.

Click Play to listen to you voicemail message, and click Close.

Change Greeting File from None to Main.


Click OK on the next screen and then close out of the Phone.lssu.edu browser.


Your voicemail will be set up for use now.
